Affiliated Unit «Buchach Vocational College of Higher Educational Institution «Podillia State University» is one of the oldest educational institutions of the region. The decision to create the educational institution for 300 students on the basis of the Monastic School in the village of Yazlovets, Buchach district, Ternopil region, was adopted in February, 1940.
Since 1946, the technical school has been relocated to Buchach, where veterinary paramedics, zootechnicians and veterinary zootechnicians were trained.
In 1964, the technical school was united with the state farm "Druzhba" of the village of Trybukhivtsi, and the Buchach State Farm-Technical School was created.
In 1966, an agronomic department was launched, and since 1992, the educational institution has begun to train specialists in land management. Since 1976, new typical buildings and student campus located in the village of Trybukhivtsi, Buchach district, have been built,.
Since 1997, the economic and legal department for the training of junior specialists in law, accounting and management has been launched at the State Agricultural Technical School.
According to the order of the Ministry of Agro-Industrial Complex of Ukraine No. 371 dated December 18, 1998, Buchach State Agricultural Technical School was renamed into Buchach State Agrarian College, and according to the order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine No. 88 dated February 28, 2006, Buchach State Agrarian College was reorganized into Affiliated unit of the Podillia State Agrarian and Engineering University with separate rights of a legal entity by joining Buchach College to Podillia State Agrarian and Technical University, and according to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated September 28, 2021 No. 1025, the college was renamed into Affiliated Unit «Buchach Vocational College of Higher Educational Institution «Podillia State University»
The college is functioning on the basis of the Regulations regarding the Affiliated Unit “Buchach Vocational College of Higher Educational Institution “Podillia State University” approved by Rector of Higher Educational Institution "Podillia State University".
The educational activity of the college is carried out on the basis of the License of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine series AE No. 636463 for the right to conduct educational activities dated June 10, 2015, as well as on the basis of the certificate of inclusion of the college into the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations of Ukraine, issued by the executive committee of Kamianets - Podilsk City Council No. 52945085709 dated December 1, 2021.
The college is subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Professional Junior Bachelors are trained in 7 specialties on the basis of licenses and certificates.
